Three Points: Delta’s deals are done, business travel’s green shoots, Alice’s new look
Issue No. 43
- Delta’s deals for used Airbus A350s and Boeing 737-900ERs are done. Don’t expect this to be Delta’s last bite at the gently-used A350 marketplace.
- There are green shoots in the aviation economy as business travel shows real signs of life. The biggest buyers of corporate travel are slowly getting back to pre-pandemic postures and Canada is showing its first thaw in 16 months.
- Eviation has given its Alice a big makeover as its first test aircraft comes together. The all-electric nine-seater is being assembled just north of Boeing’s own twin-aisle jet factory ahead of the aircraft’s first flight expected in the fall.
