Since officially launching in July, The Air Current has grown as a new voice in the aerospace and aviation community. We’re exploring new topics, breaking news and delving into strategic trends that are steering the future of this global industry. We believe that a more-complete view for all requires reaching an audience in the largest aviation markets, and published in the language of those communities.
Today I’m proud to announce the launch of theaircurrent.cn, a Mandarin version of The Air Current for our readers in China. Reaching both English and Chinese aviation communities was a founding strategic objective of The Air Current and an important differentiator for our coverage. I’m excited and energized about the path ahead as we expand our audience and provide a platform to build a bridge between the two communities through shared information and insight.
The Mandarin versions of our stories are not some rudimentary automated decoding of the English versions, but a professional aerospace-focused translation that provides both our stories and graphics in Mandarin. Our plan is to have the majority of our articles available to our Chinese subscribers.马上订阅
Current subscribers will continue to enjoy full access to the English version of The Air Current and those seeking bilingual access may add that as part of their subscription.
Innovation and cooperation are hallmarks of the relationship between these interdependent marketplaces. But the relationship continues to evolve as China and the west become future competitors in flying. The transition of that relationship requires new perspectives to make sense of the power of these currents. We are excited to bring that insight to you in both languages as The Air Current continues to grow.
