Pratt & Whitney Commercial Engines president Rick Deurloo said the engine maker is “in conversation” with Airbus about its requirement to industrialize for its A320neo Rate 75 monthly goal in 2027.
“We’re in constant conversations with the Airbus on ramp,” Deurloo said at a press briefing on the eve of the Dubai Airshow, addressing the PW1100G series engines that are one choice to power the A320neo family. “Right now, the agreement we have in place is we’re industrialized at Rate 63.”
