On March 8, 2022, The Air Current’s Editor-in-chief Jon Ostrower and Senior Editor Elan Head hosted an in-depth and candid discussion with Dr. Kevin Michaels, Managing Director of AeroDynamic Advisory.

The invasion of Ukraine by Russia has upended global aviation and aerospace. From airspace restrictions and the acute sanctions imposed on Russia and its fleet to the country’s place in the aerospace supply chain, TAC explores how the west’s response will ripple across the globe. Dr. Michaels is an expert in the global aerospace supply chain and will provide his perspective on the unfolding situation in Eastern Europe. Russia is a key node in the aerospace supply chain, providing 35% of Boeing’s titanium, 65% of Airbus’s and 100% of Embraer’s.
