The two-page PDF is an at-a-glance resource of the commercial aircraft ecosystem for analysts, operators, lessors, suppliers, researchers and policymakers. The tallied data are provided in both metric and imperial formats.
The data, provided by Skailark, aggregates average fuel performance information from 93 different airlines between 2019 and now recently updated to the third quarter of 2023, and are segmented by regional, single-aisle and twin-aisles fleets. Industry-wide average metrics include: fuel (gallons and liters) consumed per block hour, ASM/ASK per gallon and liter of fuel, stage length (mi/km), block hours per flight, and seats per flight.
