Lirio Liu, former FAA certification executive, joins Skyryse as an advisor

OSHKOSH, WI — Lirio Liu, the most recent director of the Federal Aviation Administration’s Aircraft Certification Office, will join Skyryse as a certification advisor, according to an announcement made during Experimental Aircraft Association’s AirVenture.

Liu will join the company, which is focused on creating a simplified flight control system, to help develop and ultimately certify the company’s aircraft agnostic product, known as SkyOS.

“We are incredibly honored to have Lirio join the team on our mission to make all aviation simpler and safer,” said CEO Dr. Mark Groden in its official announcement. “Her extensive aviation certification and regulatory background will be invaluable as we continue to move quickly towards certification of Skyryse One and additional airplanes and helicopters.”
