La Guardia Airport has been closed as of 11:50 pm local time, according to the FAA citing an aircraft emergency. Images from social media show a heavily damaged Air Canada Express MHI RJ (formerly Bombardier) CRJ900 tipped on its tail following a reported ground collision. Flight tracking and ATC audio from LGA Airport at the time of the accident indicates that the flight was Jazz 646, an arriving Air Canada Express flight from Montreal.
