The U.S. National Transportation Safety Board will hold a meeting on Jan. 27 to determine the probable cause of the January 2025 collision between a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter and an American Eagle CRJ700, it announced today.

The meeting fulfills a promise made by the board earlier last year to have its investigation of the crash, which killed 67 people, completed by the one-year anniversary on Jan. 29, 2026. The final report will be available approximately two weeks after the board meeting.
