Two key Federal Aviation Administration officials are set to depart in a significant shakeup for the agency that follows a continuing string of leadership changes at the U.S. aviation regulator. The FAA’s oversight head and associate administrator for aviation safety, David Boulter, will retire at the end of this year, an agency spokesperson confirmed to The Air Current. FAA General Counsel Marc Nichols has resigned and will also depart the agency within a matter of weeks, according to an individual familiar with the matter.
