
The Air Current (TAC), a leader in independent aviation journalism, is launching its next phase of growth by expanding its award-winning editorial team with the addition of Brian Garrett-Glaser as managing editor.
Garrett-Glaser will oversee all editorial coverage, the development and introduction of new products and services, and the strategic expansion of news coverage.
“Brian brings an insatiable passion for aviation and a depth of journalism experience, further expanding the value of our trusted reporting,” said Jon Ostrower, founder and editor-in-chief. “His knowledge and acumen will enable The Air Current to continue its steady and sustainable growth.”
In addition to the day-to-day operations of the newsroom, Garrett-Glaser will manage several new initiatives currently in development, including:
- Upgrades to the subscriber experience, including audio versions of long-form reports
- Groundbreaking defense-focused special reports
- Native iPhone and Android smartphone apps
Garrett-Glaser brings a wealth of journalism and business experience to TAC, having managed newsletters and podcasts at national security-focused media startup The Cipher Brief. He formerly served as managing editor of eVTOL.com and was an assistant editor of Rotor & Wing International. Before joining The Air Current, Garrett-Glaser spent four years shaping communications for a leading developer of electric aircraft.
