Bryan Bedford, CEO of regional airline Republic Airways, has been identified as the leading candidate to be the next permanent administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration, several people with knowledge of the situation told The Air Current. If selected and confirmed by the U.S. Senate, he will replace deputy administrator and acting chief Chris Rocheleau.
